Yay, so… we’re gonna talk Taco Soup. Like, for realz.
At everyone of my workshops – I cook for you!!! Why? Because I love to cook. I love to take care of Y-O-U! And, well, let’s face it: i love food. LOL! It’s become a tradition that on the opening night of my workshops, I make taco soup for everyone & I always get tons of requests for the recipe. So, I’ve decided to put it on my site!!! Senior Films Taco Soup
(This recipe feeds about 4-6 ppl.)
1lb. ground beef
1 packet of FAJITA seasoning mix (usually near gravy packets at grocery store)
1 packet of RANCH dressing seasoning
1 can of corn
2 cans of kidney beans
2 cans of black beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 SMALL can of tomato sauce
1/2 (ish) cup of tomato juice
1/2 jar of salsa (you pick the heat level)
Brown your ground beef. You can season it if you’d like, but it isn’t necessary. Drain corn & beans only. Except for the tomato juice, add ALL canned ingredients including salsa. Stir in both packets of seasoning (fajita & ranch). Do all of this over low-to medium heat & mix thoroughly. Then add your tomato juice based on how thick you’d like it to be. If you like it to be more chili-like, use less tomato juice & vise versa. You don’t even need to bring to a boil. It simply needs to get nice & warm – then serve! Chips, shredded cheese & sour cream are awesome on the side!
